  Thanks for your comparison. ATM i only have CD quality music but might have higher bitrate music in the future. I also use Tidal with the AK players dont support.   I do learn more towards the DP-X1 as that has balanced out unlike the Sony.

I only learnt this existed after reading a magazine. Looks ideal for what I'm after, along with the Sony ZX2. The only negative is no balanced out.

So I have just got my new Noble K10 IEMs. I use Tidal on the iPhone. To get a better DAC/AMP I was thinking either of the following: Apple TV > Shiit Yggdrasil > Shiit Ragnarok > K10 Sonos Connect > Shiit Yggdrasil > Shiit Ragnarok > K10 What would you recommend? Or something else entirely?

Are there no EQ presets on this, like rock, pop etc? Any way to download other people's?

  How come EU consumers are treated as 2nd-class citizens and get one without the battery :(

  I think if you listen to them while they burn in, the changewill be very slow so you wont notice it. However if you leave them and come back, the change will be more noticable?   Anyway, UPS have just delivered them, I'll report back what i think :)
