Which headphones do you have? Even though LDAC was created by Sony, I don't believe that all of their headphones support LDAC. For example, the WH-1000XM series does support LDAC, but Sony's WH-CH720N only support SBC, AAC.

I believe that once you turn on and connect a device that supports LDAC, it will allow you to choose a Bluetooth codec.
