      Thank you, some very good suggestions there.   I wear them the same way as the CX500s, very shallow using the medium tips. If I insert then any deeper I find pressure in my ear and they sound terrible. Maybe this is where I am going wrong?   The bass does sound ok with some tracks and not...

      Oddly, I actually felt they sounded better with Spotify than Apple Lossless through my iPhone.
