If you like 70's sounding warmth then you are going to love them. I do. If you want every ounce of detail then you will be disappointed. Very good for movies as well. Suitably impressed with bass. I cam from a home theater that had 3 subs and I don't miss them.- Badas

Here is my 2 channel system. Love the system. Hate the room. We are building and waiting completion. New house/room will be a lot nicer. I'm also OLED. 83 Sony A90J- Badas

For 6AS7G tube rollers here .....
I've got a set of those from Langrex. Super quiet and work perfect. I don't rank Mullard 6080 tho. Too clinical for my taste. I like wooley and loose :gs1000smile:- Badas

Do you get a hum/buzz from the grid wires? My Woo WA22 can't have a rectifier and drive tubes with grid wires. Buzzzzz. What are the drivers? Are they Ken Rad or NU 6F8G?- Badas

Nighthawks are great with WA22. My go to is Aeon 2 Open, but every once and a while I reach for the Hawks. I have a soft spot for them. All my HP's play nice with WA22 with one exception - Meze 99. Meze gets a buzz through them. So I use as portable only.- Badas

Success! 6336B working in my amp. I did 3 sessions over the weekend with these power tubes. 3.5, 4.5 and 6 hours. Amp and transformers got warm. Not hot. Sound was the best power tube I have heard in my WA22.- Badas

I've purchased a set of 6336B's and I'm going to give them a go. My WA22 is 2014 so way past warranty. The 6336B's are fat boys. So I do worry that my wire grids to my driver tubes might interfere. You can kinda see the wire grids on the pic below:- Badas

Interesting that you are using a webber copper cap rectifier. I have one of those. They are certainly faster and basier than a tube rectifier.- Badas

Power tubes do seem to be the WA22 achilles heel. I have tried a lot of different types and they can be a hit or miss on noise. They can even differ by batch. I did find the quietest and most consistent were the non bottle types. The shorter tubes. Like in mine pictured below: They may not be...- Badas

Best Headphones for Audiophiles with Tinnitus | Moon Audio
Interesting. I do suffer from tinnitus. I've tried a lot of gear and landed very close to their recommendations. My go to is Aeon 2 Open and Woo WA22. If I don't have time for tubes I use SPL Phonitor Xe. Curious about Ether 2 now.- Badas
