Mod House Audio Tungsten - Planar Magnetic Headphones - Impressions and Discussion
Good to know. Tho at this stage it’d probably be easier to resell than return. But please people don’t fleece buyers over the price.- invisiblekid

Mod House Audio Tungsten - Planar Magnetic Headphones - Impressions and Discussion
While I’m desperately waiting for these, I understand the delay. I ordered in Feb so hell it could be end of summer before I get them. However Ryan is WAY behind and his est delivery on the website is frankly pathetic. He knows by now a decent estimate on numbers for a week and probably a...- invisiblekid

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
Do the BE2 pads fit? As my first ZMF I wasn’t sure as there is a separate section for Bokeh pads I made the mistake of ordering the BBB suspension strap (in red to suit) that doesn’t fit. Reading more carefully it does say full sized headphones, but it doesn’t specifically say it doesn’t fit...- invisiblekid

in any case it was the treble on SS that WaveTheory didn’t rate too highly. The Organic comparison was only with the SS. He liked the DS much more and especially the treble. I’m not about to order second pair being the DS while I wait for the SS. I’ll wait till CanJam for a listen with both...- invisiblekid

I do like WaveTheory, very much indeed, his explanation of the fawning over the A90D was brilliant However I do get the feeling, of how he rewiews stuff, he definitely has his sound that he likes and quite often if they don't match it is vocal about that, without always considering the viewer...- invisiblekid

Add Aussie Wagyu beef to the list. From what I’ve seen it’s genuinely the best Wagyu outside of Japan A5 (fat wise anyway) and in a way better since you can eat a big fat steak and not feel a bit gross after. A5 too rich for wolfing on an empty stomach.- invisiblekid

The last two YT reviews I posted they both loved the protein pads. As much as I’m not looking forward to swapping these, I might have to try them. I only got the burst filters but I think that’s the correct combo anyway.- invisiblekid

I know a Zeos video liking something isn’t hard to find, but still, he’s has listened to more headphones than I’ve had hot dinners so I do have a lot of time for him.- invisiblekid

Well I think it’s certainly these three and as I said I can audition the all but the WA. However, I might possibly look at the WA-22 as its pre-amp could go to my 3X GT for the power boost. But it’s a hell of an ask to import such a beast. Whatever I choose, I’ll hold off till London...- invisiblekid

I can't go mad on a valve amp, but the Cayin HA-3A and Feliks Elise are possible and I can audition them back to back easily.- invisiblekid

They are portable as in they do work with portable gear, tho I’d really only suggest a decent DAP. The R6 III work them well, but they step onto another level with the 3X GT. Have tried the Mojo 1 and even an old Fiio Mount Blanc amp and the Bokeh changes with all of them.- invisiblekid

I definitely want to jump onto the open ZMF bandwagon, and these are giving me some food for thought. I can certainly wait until they appear and see how they compare to my targeted Atriums that I was looking at.- invisiblekid

Great to hear your thoughts. I got an open box 2022 version (the one with the the red knobs.) I have since got the Super Charger and was staggered that I could hear the difference. Since I saved $800 I’m still very happy and didn’t think I needed to trade for the 2023 version. While I...- invisiblekid

I do love the red but damn those natural finishes are lush. They look more expensive. 40 hours burn in on mine. My Hiby R6 is on a cycle of charge, play till dead, charge, bless it. But it really does seem to have helped. They do seem to have relaxes a bit but not in a flabby way, but a “I...- invisiblekid

Burson V7 Classic Pro and V7 Vivid Pro - Hi-Fi audiophile solid-state op-amps
yeah I was sad they didn’t let you pick and mixed and still get the discount. I’d be happy with a mix say 4classic and 2 vivids. I’m not in a huge rush to get them atm.- invisiblekid

Yeah was looking at it’s probably just worth it to get the kit. Tho now I’m possibly looking at the classics as they seem to have improved a lot over the V6.- invisiblekid

This is my 1st ZMF too and it’s been very recently that I’ve even looked into them having been recommended them by a couple of people online. The fanboy stuff doesn’t appeal to me either but here it kinda makes sense. I said in an earlier post, I think it comes down to a few things having...- invisiblekid
