Comply Tips Review
I bought the variety pack of the SmartCore series instead of the variety pack prescribed for my particular headset--my Sony MDR-AS800AP--because the SmartCore is newer, and I figured it would be worth trying it to see if the SmartCore Sport Pro had better sound quality than the earlier Sport...- Drew Neilson

Comply Tips Review
Why are Comply tips designed with foam extending beyond the end of the internal plastic core? This seems to be what causes a reduction in upper frequencies, so why does Comply design them this way?- Drew Neilson

Best Smartphone for audiophile
I'm curious about high-resolution audio. I don't buy music anymore, I stream it from Spotify, and although Spotify (to my knowledge) does not currently offer high-resolution audio, they were testing offering lossless audio the last time I searched for information about Spotify and sound quality...- Drew Neilson

The Official Head Fi Ear Wax Thread
After reading through this thread, I am left with these questions: 1. If inserting a foreign object into our ear canals causes our bodies to produce ear wax at a faster rate than they otherwise would, which then requires us to remove the wax with ear-washing kits or with special visits to a...- Drew Neilson

IEMs for exercise
Check out http://m.thewirecutter.com/leaderboard/headphones/. There, they have an article about wired exercise headphones, and an article about wireless exercise headphones. I doubt that they are audiophile-quality, so they might not be classified as IEMs, but those articles are worth a read.- Drew Neilson
