Great! The 500th finishing up the chassis / PCB fitting. One of the really dumb things is that they are on the Wave-5 or 6 or something like that. The biggest problem being that they have never put ANY generation of the Wave into production. Makes it really hard to make a profit on this DAP...

So those boards are not LH boards, but made by and for the development team. That makes some sense because the DAP board was obviously laid out by a different person than whoever (Larry?) laid out the LH boards that we have been shown. The layout style is different. J.P.

This prototype board looks nothing like any of the boards that I remember seeing pictures of, particularly the last few iterations. I also don't see any kind of LH marking or identification. Is this even an LH board or is it somebody else's DAP? J.P.

@ItsAllInMyHead You took the long way to say it, but you have it exactly right. This can be confusing, but ultimately not that hard to understand if you understand a few basic concepts. Separating these concepts seems to be the biggest challenge until you understand at least some of them...

The flaw in thinking is equating gain with power. There is no relationship between the two. Gain is ONLY the ratio of output voltage to input voltage. Higher gain means only that the maximum output voltage will be achieved with a lower input signal level. J.P.
