I think it does not matter to me, I mean their current production etc. What matters is the sound and the difference, I am sure for many years even from now people will be talking about them just like we talk about the 1960's and 70's vintage stereo amplifiers.

Thank you for the input!!! I really appreciate it, so there is a difference. I think Asgard 2 has a difference in larger margin when compared to magni 3. Especially in the highs region when used as a preamp for a stereo amplifier.

I have the asgard 2. I used to own LD MK2, and asgard 2 is far better than LD MK2, as a headphone amp and as a preamp for big stereo power amp that drives speakers.

As far as i recall, Asgard 2 is Class A and Asgard 3 is something else.

Hi TRN Fans, How true do you think this image is....? If its correct then the TRN stock cable that comes with EMA is incorrect. I checked with multimeter. Here is the thread which i found the photo, and its all in chinese. I have no idea how the OP of this thread determined the polarity of EMA...

I found it on the below URL. If what this image says is correct the cables polarity is wrong. L side is correct and the L emblem should face outward. R side it will be incorrect if the R emblem faces outwards. It is correct when the emblem faces inward but the plug that connect to socket goes in...

Lucky you! I sold mine because of this. Now i am super happy with my schiit asgard 2.
