Superlux HD681 Lifespan?
Alrighty! I appreciate that I was looking for a good budget buy and decided if I buy the 681 that I'd buy the 681-EVO for comparison. You have any feedback on the EVO or have you had the time to listen to them?- whitemass

Superlux HD681 Lifespan?
I've been reading a lot on these because their a headphone I was looking at grabbing. I see an issue of people on Amazon saying they've only lasted a month or not even a few months. Can anyone with experience tell me how long they've had theirs and their experience with the can themselves? I...- whitemass

[Question]What are the best/newest/cheapest?
Hi, I'm approaching this to see what options I have for Over Ear Headphones. I had my AudioTechnica ATH-M50 for well over 11 Years, recently they just broke. I wanted to see from everyone around what the best pairs of Over Ear Headphones are right now. In the past, I always saw a ton of...- whitemass

Moxpad X6 First Impressions And Review Thread
Appreciate the feedback. I still plan on grabbing a pair later, actually everything mentioned is currently on my list. I've heard people rant about the Kinera BD005, & I've also heard mixed opinions. People calling it the ATH-M50 of the IEM world. The ZS5 I've auditioned once, I really like it...- whitemass

Moxpad X6 First Impressions And Review Thread
Was considering grabbing the Moxpad X6. I was thinking about getting them with a MMCX Cable of my liking. Before I completely commit to that though, could someone give me a comparison of the Moxpad X6 vs. KZ ZS3?- whitemass

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Been listening to the KZ ZST as I've finally gotten around to them Is it just me or do the highs on the ZST seem a bit over pronounced? I noticed that at some higher volumes the cymbals are pretty loud. Maybe the dynamic driver needs some break in time so it can flex a bit but so far, sheesh...- whitemass

Funny enough, goes against what I'm asking for, but with the ZST, & ZS3 the ZS3 has become my go to IEM currently.- whitemass

I haven't yet, I have them on the chopping block ready to purchase at any time now. Instead right now I'm looking at the Auglamour R8, maybe gonna see about these unless I hear about something bright out of nowhere.- whitemass

Well! Nope haven't seen these. I generally prefer the wrap around the ear detachable cable IEMs.- whitemass

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Thanks to all you nuts I've bought myself the KZ ZS3, & KZ ZST so far. Question for you all though. I'm looking for a brighter sounding, maybe even tinny sound. Is there an IEM with detachable cables and the like that has this sorta signature on Amazon for around the $25 mark you'd recommend?- whitemass

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
If you'd like I'll give you my take on an IEM mentioned in here so far! I've recently been spending a bit of time with the $16 KZ ZS3 They've slowly made their way into my heart as one of the most comfy, & warm IEMs I've purchased. They have to be the best $16 I've spent in a long time. Why...- whitemass

I personally have to agree with this. I don't generally like any silicon tips as they just become a pain over time, though the Starline tips they offered in varying sizes were worth! They're comfortable for sure, like you said yourself, over a small break in period they get very comfy.- whitemass

Review by 'whitemass' on item 'Creative Labs Zen MX 16 GB MP3 Player (Black)'
I figured I'd do an off the beaten path on a device I've had since about '09/'10! I'll keep it short. It's a simple media player capable of powering budget IEMs and things of that nature. If you ever considered getting one I'd certainly recommend something to power other headphones. The things...- whitemass

Earbuds Going Bad[Thoughts/Views]
I do agree with you on this, especially people who buy budget IEMs, even though China has gotten better people still thrash IEMs around which I've never understood, I think it's all something to do with just management and taking care of them. I've never heard a thing about changing out the...- whitemass

How long do headphones usually last?
Yep to you two! I'd say with IEMs it takes a lot of true caring for them, & really watching what you're doing. Like I originally said though, magnets shouldn't give out too easily, & secondly most electronics shouldn't be kept in hot conditions in general.- whitemass

How long do headphones usually last?
Hard to say in general as to of how long things last. I don't always agree with the whole 'the driver goes bad', I think a lot of this argument has to do with how you use the volume for one. My experiences. AudioTechnica ATH-IM50 I've owned going on about three years now, the cable has gone...- whitemass

Earbuds Going Bad[Thoughts/Views]
So as I've delved more into audio and proceeded to try out more of the market out In-Ears to Earbuds, Earbuds have really posed a question to me, Earbuds like the VE Monk, & others. Can Earbuds truly last you as long as headphones? I've always heard the old folk tales of people having...- whitemass

Shure SE315 (Opinion Thread)
Huh. I don't really collect, I see collecting IEMs as useless if you're going to add to it and never use them. Also, thanks for the rec. I've come to prefer over the ear detachable IEMs more though. The whole plan all together was the grab the SE215 eventually moving onto the SE315. I...- whitemass

Shure SE315 (Opinion Thread)
How's it going guys. I wanna ask any long time owners, daily driver users, & people who've had long term experience about the SE315. I personally didn't find the reviews section of the SE315s page too useful. If anyone here owns them, could some of you write out an 'In-depth' review for me so I...- whitemass

Really? So question! I've had the IM50 for a while now, and I wanna upgrade in this line. But the reason I love the IM50 is because is nice, soothing, & warmth without it being like a lot of other darker sounding pieces I've heard. This is different primarily because of the vocal focus, and...- whitemass

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Nope, for some reason Balanced Armature Drivers even ones with a bit lower impedance have to be cranked a bit higher. Well, the ATH Series to be fair has to be at least 85-90% to get a full sound. Or at least a sound that is reasonable listening. The IM70, & IM50 being Symphonic Drivers are...- whitemass
