Nope the actual supercharger went out, that is interesting because when I used a generic power supply the blue light turned on. I have to find a supercharger 5a now.

It’s the 2021 model and nothing looks particularly bad, I think it might have something to do with the power delivery.

I am going to check the power modules and the lid but it did not occur after me moving it or opening it up, it goes turned itself off after some hours of listening.

My Burson unfortunately refuses to turn on now, it just suddenly lost power and the blue light will not turn on. I put all the stock opamps to be sure and it still refuses to turn on. Anyone know what I can do?

Anyone know if hifiman will repair the wood on susvaras? I have a rather deep one and it bothers me a lot.

I am still exploring hqplayer but anyone have particular settings that work well with their susvara? My dac does not process DSD and I am trying to give the susvara a little body using the filters.

I think some pad rolling can help, I find that my ears are pressed up against the driver because the stock pads are not deep enough, having big ears and head makes it harder to find the right depth.

The susvara is definitely akin to a pane of glass, I think it falls to my amp, I'll try modifying it or just get an envy and be done with it. The envy definitely sounds like the endgame for me when paired with a warmer dac.

Does anyone here struggle with siblance with the susvara? I wince occasionally while playing well mastered tracks and it is getting a little fatiguing. I am pretty treble sensitive and I was thinking the solution is either a tube amp like the envy or maybe trying the auteur pads to tame the treble.

I agree, I had to remove my G pads for the H pads and I tore a little seam of it. Its actually part of the reason I do not want to change pads anymore, if they were easier, I would just try on different pads every week. If I tore the H pads, its going to be difficult to replace them.

Anyone run their soloist in high gain? I am trying to find whether I need to run the susvara on high gain, I get loud volumes at 32 on medium gain.

Might be metal on metal contact, if you can, some lube can help. It might be best to see exactly where the sound is coming from.

Sounds good, I guess its time to find a V7 or SIL994, I have a r2r dac and I am counting on that to give the sound a little warmer signature. If not, I will just get a V7 classic and replace the volume or input stage.

I like some attack in my amp so I think I will do SS2590 in the voltage stage with extensions, input will be the V7 vivids or SIL994 and I will just leave the V6 vivids as volume. How would you say the SIL994 or v7 vivids differ in sound profile?
