How would you compare the overall sound signature on the 770 Pro X Vs the 700? Which has better bass and midrange in your experience so far?

It is decided. I'm keeping the 700 Pro X, both the 900 and 1770 are being returned. Whilst there are some good things about the 1770, it just sounds weird. I wonder what the outcome would be if the lead engineers who worked on the 700/900, would get a chance to revamp the 1770/1990 series...

So currently, for guitar practice and I think mixing, the 700s do well. But for music listening, I think 1770s are more engaging but will need to do more listening. The 1770s still have sibilance. Will continue throughout the day.

Is anyone able to get the YouTube app to work when using the walkman as a transport out to an external USB DAC?

Need to ask the hard question, does the Kara have the same hiss as the Freya S? I could hear the Freya S hiss from the seated position so ended up parting ways despite liking the sound signature. Hopefully Kara has fixed this for a pure blackground

Haven't fully tested it, but the 306 is currently easily keeping pace (if not better) when it comes to battery life.

From initial impressions, the 306 is a nice upgrade from the 55. Firstly it sounds better, secondly the load up is faster and the Android UI actually works way better than I expected. Will be selling my 55 shortly
