I believe that is by design - it is not firmly set and thus decouples the chassis from cable vibration. I'm not saying it's valid/correct/priced accordingly, I'm only relating the idea that if memory serves, it's by design. As a former Naim owner, I will only say that agreed, their TOTL prices...
