I tend to turn mine off from the front as it gets pretty toasty when I have left it on for 2-3 hrs not being used. I suspect not enough ventilation around mine if others do not get hot.

I find the same as yourself on the 109's, if it is not my imagination on high they seem to sound lower volume and probably smoother. Tried to turn the volume up to compensate but still I find a slight difference especially on the high notes. The volume definitely varies on mine.

Cannot remember exactly as it was a few years back however from what I recall the card slot allowed the card to go in incorrectly, there was a lot of play so card could go in even when not put in straight so it went in wrongly, am sure I had read at the time this happened to at least another...

Very true, hold my hands up as I am a guilty one. Done this on my Ibasso when I first got it, card went in wrongly, did not work ( probably shorted the card) so my wisdom told me try it on the the Nikon camera, smoke came out and camera was fried. So am very very careful now with sd cards...

After the post regarding the cable and of curiosity I went online looking at that cable and instantly microphonics came to mind as bought a custom made cable in the UK with similar looking material, sounded good but I could not move, unbearable when it rubbed against my clothing.

Have you tried to EQ them ? I am using the Oratory 1990 for them however sometimes I turn it off, depending on the mood. I think you need to try and tame the treble one way or another, mine are being used with a Hiby dap which has plenty of different options where I can fine tune the treble but...

I think once you fine tune the PEQ settings for you headphones and some other settings like the MSEB and also the DRX10K plugin, you will be able to get decent bass. I also have a few different EQ settings programmed ( only use two mainly) so if a song is lacking in bass or treble I can change...

Also worth trying while at it, plug a charger in the usb for 5-10 mins and retry the procedures you have tried, sometimes the charger seems to kickstart things.

Those are both balanced that I tried, if you want me to test the 3.5 let me know and shall dig out the cable.

The regular PO & LO both work for me as have just tested them, cannot test the usb as do not have a cable for that.

I use both, the PEQ is excellent, I use the MSEB very slightly to change the high notes sound very slightly.

Also mseb settings might be worth changing slightly to your taste.

Do not know if the charger is fast charging the Hiby however I am getting the fast charging notification with the same charger and cable on the Samsung phone. Might not fast charge the Hiby ? It has stopped charging the Hiby at 85% as my settings, left it on charge for 20 mins after it reached...

Mine only show battery icon and percentage, no fast charging that I can see both on and off while pressing the power on button.

The charger I showed fast charges on the top usb slot QC 3.0, have left it on and am charging it at the moment and shall let you know what happens later on as want to make sure.
