It is hard for me to say as I listen slow acoustic music. In general the concept of "speed" in an amplifier is something I don't get. What I can say is that the HA-3A sounds more lively to me.

Probably not considered high end (will be end for me, at least for a while....) but my HE1000 Stealth matched slightly better with the S17 Pro. The opposite happens for the Dan Clark Audio Ether 2, which performs better with the R28. Great match for LCD-X and LCD-2 also.
