Just took annual payment on Qobuz. 2 months for free, so it's worth it. And the search / sorting should be fixed soon so that's also a big bonus.

Yes, you can listen to it for free. In that case the quality is even lower than 256kbps AAC. Just like Spotify has a free tier and a premium tier. Same with Soundcloud.

Is there any news on an update of their apps so you can sort releases on Album/EP/Singles ? Now it is all mixed together which makes it very difficult to search and find what you are looking for. Would be great if you can make a selection based on type of release and on release year.

Welcome to 2019, where every good album gets the remaster (= LOUDNESS) threatment. Getting sick of it, and nobody seems to care. At least not the people who master the music these days.

Like I also said before, EDM genre in general is not very big on Qobuz. Tidal has more and Spotify has even more than Tidal, a lot more. That is why I moved to the latter. In defense of Qobuz, they have many Fabric releases, even old ones that Spotify has not. Fabric is a great mix album series...

I am NOT going in the whole gapless playback debate here again. But I know for a fact that the Android Deezer app does NOT support gapless playback, even if you make it available for download/offline listening. I tested it myself just a week ago.

They have no clue Deezer exists because well, it's just a bad streaming service. A streaming service with no gapless playback should be ignored by any music lover. And no, dear customer support, the crossfade function doesn't do the same thing...

There is a word for this, it's called fraud. Or at least a big mistake. They should check and make sure what they sell as Hi Res is actually Hi Res.
