Greedy bastards! How can they justify that amount of money. Solid Gold would cost less. Even if I had the money, to buy this would mean I agree that the price of this is ok. THIS IS NOT OK!! This is unbelievable!!- DarkDrummer

I can't believe you found this. That is a steal for the money. I would buy it NOW, if not sooner, if the seller would ship to me. Damn it. I have no luck. I owned the exact same one back in the late '70's. The turntable did not come with a tone arm. The Black Widow was the "suggested " arm to...- DarkDrummer

What!!! Anybody that is willing to spend the $$ that they're selling that for, IMO, either has WAY too much money or they are extremely stupid! Also, the only thing that all those extra, unneeded, "gadgets", do is add noise and hiss! You are much better off spending more money on a quality...- DarkDrummer

What you need to acquire is a Kenwood KD-500 turntable and for a tone arm, you need the best one EVER made; the Infinity "Black Widow " carbon fiber. Run this with the "needle ",lol, of your choice and I guarantee that you will hear a huge difference in your experience! Digital music SUCKS for...- DarkDrummer

Which PSVANE Versions have you tried? I have the CV181-TII which I love and the blue globe 6SN7 version that imo, sucks and I paid way too much for.- DarkDrummer

Comment by 'DarkDrummer' in article 'Audio Connections between components -- Digital and Analogue'
Why don't manufacturers start telling the truth about digital audio connections and formats? A "balanced" XLR cable connection should NEVER be used with any home audio set-ups. It's SOLE purpose is for "live" on stage applications such as your local band playing at your local bar!!! Live music...- DarkDrummer

I also have the one with the red base . It sounds ok...it has NO low end...I play my drums wearing my Senns and i have a difficult time hearing the drum track with this tube. In short...this tube sucks when it comes to rock and funk...I would not recommend this tube for those styles of music. I...- DarkDrummer

I'm having the same problem with a GE 6AS7GA....I love the sound of it but out of nowhere it just starts to snapin', cracklin', and a poppin' !!! I used Deoxit on the tube pins to clean them up and it didn't do anything as far as helping with the problem. I don't know what to do. :frowning2:- DarkDrummer
