    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

Yes, around the 7 minute he explains the changes that have been made, including two photos. This is maybe the video that I saw, because it's exactly what I said, hehe

    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

I don't remember the exact video, but I remember that someone said that they modify the "acoustics" on the interior of the Cup, around the driver, by using damping materials. It's pretty basic stuff, but it seems that it does a big difference. As far as I remember, they don't modify any...

    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

I agree that the Argon are somewhat special. However, I also agree that they don't add too much to your collection. I have the LCD2Classic, the Cascades and the Fostex Ebony. The Argons have better soundstage than the Cascades, but you already have the LCD2, so this won't be anything special...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

Are you using the original pads? If you don't consider them too bassy you can always try the filters, they add more bass. Are your pads in good condition? Bad sealing can ruin the bass. Cloth or XXL pads have noticeable less bass. To be fair I don't consider them that bassy. But when there's...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

I am afraid that next step will be the Cascade wireless, with ANC. It has been a big market, and Apple opened the gates for more expensive options. Nowadays there are B&W Px8, Focal Bathys, Mark Levinson... All of them pretty expensive, and I assume they get good profit margins on each of them...

    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

They are really comfortable headphones. The only problem is that, after some time of use, around 90 minutes in my case, they start to feel really warm and hot, because the pads are very cushy and soft. They are comfortable but it's like having a cushion in each ear.

    SONY IER-Z1R

I assume that you have already tried what I mention before, but deep insertion with much smaller tips have worked well for me. They are the only iems that I have to use this way. I have big ears, no problem with the Clairvoyances, and I am usually between XL and L tips, but with these I prefer...

    SONY IER-Z1R

Welcome to the Z1R family :) Without opening another debate about cables or burn-in, I think that speaking about the Z1R, the main difference is about proper fit and tips, more than cables and burn in. A lot of people say that these are very source dependant, but I have not had the opportunity...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

I found that cloth makes them less bassy, losing their magic... However filters were pushing the bass up, but it was more the middle bass that the sub-bass, and I was not liking it... I really think that they shine on the original configuration of pads and filters, but having the option to tune...

    Campfire Audio New IEM release

They missed the opportunity to fix the price on 3,333$... It's called Tri-fecta, because they have three drivers, and they release a first 333 batch. :)

iFi audio GO Bar - The Best Pocketable HiFi System, Bar None!

That would be an IFI Go Blu, no? It would not make any sense to add Bluetooth... About the general dongle discussion: I think that they are extremely convenient, I am very happy with the Hidisz S9 pro. I won't probably change for the ifi, because it is difficult to justify the price, but the...

iFi audio GO Bar - The Best Pocketable HiFi System, Bar None!

If I am not wrong, the higher the impedance, the lower the power, no? 550mw at 64 oms seems really high for such a small dongle. I am using the Hidizs S9 pro, and if I am not wrong, it was 200mw at 32 oms at balanced, and 100mw oms at 32 unbalanced... And it does move pretty difficult...

    Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP

Modhouse recommends the Protein pads for the Mk3. I remember that I ordered mine and, due to the pandemic, they were having problems getting the protein pads. They offered me the velour from the Tr60, as a second option. But I told them that I was looking for a warm and bassy sound signature...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

I remember that the guys from Abyss explained in a video that it was really difficult for them to find a pad provider that could work with their requirements. It seems silly but it is a very delicate part of any headphone.

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

There are a lot of great headphones on the 400€ market, but I really believe that the Cascades belong to a higher bracket. There's really not a lot on the market with these characteristics. Being one of the bass kings is not that easy. They are much more of just bass cannons, they make music...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

That's a lot of homework, hehehe I will try to check it during this week, but it is going to be complicated. I will reply as soon as I can try it. Anyone around here with the Cascade, might also give some impressions, hehe

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

Can you give me an example? I don't usually listen metal music, so my opinion is almost worthless, but I am curious to try them. Without even listening a song, I would say that they perform very well on busy passages, however, I remember some rock songs where the bass guitar was clearly too...

**** me. I understood it all wrong... Then I have to try the XXL pads with the filters, because I found them more comfortable and open sound, but I missed the bass... Thank you!

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

Regarding the XXL pads, in my memory, they still have enough bass, but they clearly lose more rumble than slam, if that makes sense. I mean, it seems that the XXL pads reduce more the sub-bass frequencies than the mid bass reduction. Still they affect mid bass, but it was more clear in the sub...

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

I bought mine used for 600€ but they were almost new (original buyer got them B-stock), with very few use. Pads are in great condition after around one year. In my case the black "painting" it's not holding up very well. Mine are a second version with small changes, they don't have the...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

I have a similar experience with the Blon Bl03. I really like them. I like how they do soundstage, instrument separation, tonality, timber, bass, mids, soft treble... When I compare them with the Clairvoyance, I can see the technical differences, but I really wonder if I enjoy more music with...
