Rhapsody is not that airy. It's coherent and smooth. PR1 pro is airy.- Anycolouryoulike

Rhapsody just arrived. Using them with the Tanchjim one DSP cable. Very coherent. Laid back. Fuller sounding than the zs10 pro X. Everything sounds in the right place is the only way I can explain it. So laid back it's effortless. KZ is on a roll. The castor Harman and zsn pro 2 were both...- Anycolouryoulike

What it's relationship to previous KZ planars is I can't comment on. What I will say is that I generally couldn't listen to Springsteen on an older kz iem. The v shaped tuning pushed the vocals too far down in to the wall of sound. The pr3 doesn't do that. I am presuming that's a benefit of...- Anycolouryoulike

Mine just arrived. Super fast to Ireland. Listening to them now. First planar set. Its stage is excellent. Super wide. Dry. Detailed. Really clear is the only way I can describe them. Very different from the Castor Harmon. Much more clinical and clean. I like them.- Anycolouryoulike

It was a very worthy video. But not very riveting. He said the PR3 is a very good value iem. But he placed it's raw sound behind the s12 and timeless AE but above the Stellaris but said it's technicalities were only second to the s12. I couldn't force my self to watch the comparisons to...- Anycolouryoulike

Castor Harmon are very impressive. Best KZ I've heard since BA10. Using them with jcally jm25. Frank Ocean all around me. Sublime. So resolving. Some times the hype is right.- Anycolouryoulike

I've a budget of 80 euro and haven't bought an iem since my zs10 pro X last Christmas and 11/11 is just around the corner. What, in your opinion, is the quintessential must have iem of 2023?- Anycolouryoulike

It's very nice actually. Open and detailed. Good fit. My realme gt2 wasn't too happy with the other dac I was using and kept dropping connection and it also wouldn't connect to the the 7hz DAC I had. This one works perfectly. Hiby music player probably solved the problem in fairness.- Anycolouryoulike

I had hoped the more recent kz offerings were an improvement? BA10 are by far my best iem. They are superior to the zs10 pro X and 7hz salnotes zero I also own. The Jcally jm25 is a fine DAC. Lovely stage. Happy with it. I think I will try the vxs. No one has convinced me the kz planars are...- Anycolouryoulike

Seeking an upgrade on my BA10. Currently tossing up between AS16 pro and PR1 balanced. Any insight is welcome. 50 euro is the limit of the budget. Open to any suggestions. Would like to try a planar. Ruling out kz X hbb PR2 straight away.- Anycolouryoulike

I find the included tips very awkward. Uncomfortable. They are so deep that they push the iem itself outward sonit doesn't fit flush. I have wide bore foams to try. I hope they can rescue them. First time I ever had an issue like this with a KZ. Those tips are deep insertion. I do not like them...- Anycolouryoulike

Thanks for the review Andy. I was actually just about to post elsewhere on the site seeking your opinion on this dac when I found your review. Informative and articulate work as always. Waiting for it and the salnotes zero to arrive in time for Xmas. Something to look forward to. Thanks again.- Anycolouryoulike

Yes I think he and Cinacle have an axe to grind with kz. I found the review bizarre to say the least. I was interested to see what kz made of their new planar driver. this diatribe didn't do much of anything. I find Paul wasabi more reasonable. Less emotive. Vortex reviews are fine work too...- Anycolouryoulike
