REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
@MDR30 Thank you, thank you! Those drawings are now filed away in my AT Jade note. I have all the supplies to build the y-adapter, EXCEPT the XLR4 female. Just ordered a couple.- ShaolinGrump

REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
Okay, so a y-splitter for the Jade is two TRS 1/4" plugs to a female XLR4. Jade's left jack is cathode, and the right jack is anode. XLR4 pinout to dual TRS 1/4" plugs: Pin 1 cathode tip L+ Pin 2 anode tip L- Pin 3 cathode ring R+ Pin 4 anode ring R- Sleeve on both TRS is open?- ShaolinGrump

REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
I am trying to find a wiring diagram for the Jade balanced cable. I have several adapters that I can modify. I just need to know which wires go where inside the left and right 1/4" plugs.- ShaolinGrump

The all new Continental Dual Mono
This little cooling tower display stand took a while to design and get right. Furniture felt and gentle pressure from the shelf bridge hold the CDM to the solid brass heat sinks.- ShaolinGrump

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
If you’re into PEQ, oratory1990’s settings for ZMF Eikon are loving the Bokeh I received yesterday from Switzerland. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxt8liitfys9lt6/ZMF%20Eikon.pdf?dl=0 Bokeh seems more open and plays nicer with my hearing damage above 6-8kHz. I don’t understand EQ very well and...- ShaolinGrump

Koss HV/A1 headphones
HV1 arrived last week. Pads were gone to dust and clean off already. Testing pad replacement from stuff I have laying around. The less pad the better is my current opinion. Fantastic old tech. My father had these or HV/1A in the mid-1970s. My first head-fi has returned!- ShaolinGrump

Khadas Tea - World's First MagSafe Headphone Amplifier for Smartphones
I think Apple is working with better than 256kbps, or their compression is improved over what we assume an MP3 or similar sounds like. I have some DRM at 256kbps in my library. I can hear it before I look at the screen. It’s less than RedBook by a mile to my ear. Tea was sounding much better...- ShaolinGrump
