mine has been on for a few years not really noticing any difference these days although would have to turn it off to hear, which would interrupt the burn in

Windows to SMSL results in a non bit perfect result, it just reports what is being sent from the PC, can't see that changing, but as reported, android base on dedicated streamers can get round it

Am I missing something, the eversolo sends out different stuff to the SMSL all the time, but trying another Dac gives the same results, all a million miles away from windows interface

I'm a quiet listener, too, did buy a thingy that you can hook up to amps, never used it though, but think the 1080w into 8ohms from the michis might be a bit much and will stick with the Singxer. Great to hear about options that you can do.

I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase, do think some would want more power driving the HE 6SE, do use it more as as pre, driving the AE1 actives.

If you have something like the ATC SCM50, might want to look for something more in line. That being said did try it with my B&W 802's in the cinema room just out of interest and it didn't disappoint

I'm using it as a preamp for my AE1 Active's PC desktop set up when not on my he6se and it works beautifully, nice and clean, fed from SMSL SU-9. Would highly recommend
