Thanks for that bit of information, I would imagine that the 6as7 should be ok as I have heard the T1 600ohm cans have worked well on lesser tube amps but if not I can run both my darkvoice 336se together that may make a difference with power not sure but the volume does increase when I do.

Well I have the topping a90 descrete / d90le, hifiman ef600 & ef600 also woo audio wa7 fireflies 3rd generation. Portable amp/dacs are ifi audio micro idsd signature & fostex hpv1. The hifiman arya stealth works great with all of them.

I run my arya stealth on my woo wa7 fireflies 3rd gen dac/amp to darkvoice & its great. People say planars don't sound good on darkvoice but I disagree. Maybe its the 250v power we have over here.

Try cleaning the pins with very light Emory paper before you give up on it. Worth a try.

The topping a90 discrete has both balanced xlr & none balanced rca inputs & outputs, the d90le dac has two xlr balance & two rca none balance outputs.

Mine goes through the loki mini + I also have the Lokius but thats hooked up to my topping a90 discrete/ d90le.
