Got the ultra, took my chance hoping it perform better than my se300 ... - wifi speed hit 433mbps (thank god) - cpu is so much faster - using tidal to usb output to external dac finally no issue. (On se300 there's glitches when mqa is player on external dac) - much dynamic sounding than se300...

Same as mine se300, occasionally wifi drop off. Encounter this in different places, different wifi router. Can't understand why none of my chifi dap have this issue.

Can anyone confirm the wifi speed the Ultra dap us able to achieve? My se300 only hit max 56mbps ... such disappointment, occasionally affecting my tidal playback.

When u try ak se300 . U know the meaning of slow ....

No dap is perfect, each with different quirks but you lived with it for their respective different sound signature. My 1am2 is considered slow & outdated cpu by many user when it was first launched. NOW it's considered super fast to me, after i used ak se300. But se300 r2r is really fantasic...

Connect ur handphone to wifi, hotspot from your phone wifi to se300. Can work just a bit slow.

recently pair 109 with ak se300 .. its a really good match .. r2r smoothness tame the slightly high treble on 109

the option to select class A/AB, NOS/OS, gain mode really give a lot of option when pairing with various iem/headphone. I guess this is the 1 to get if sp3k is too far out of reach.

Yup. Its much much slower than my very slow sony wm1am2 .. but the screen and musical sound make up for it.

I am using se300 usb out to shanling h7, playing tidal MQA file .. intermittent pausing of music every 30 sec .. it seem se300 usb out can't support the high data rate over it's usb port. Have tried to reduce tidal song quality to High instead of mqa/flac, no such problem happen. Does anyone...

Not laggy at all ... u dun use a dap like u r using ur hp .. u use a dap for it's sound ... thats should be your main focus.

Just claim mmcx loose, demand a rma warranty exchange.

Most dap can do usb line out. For me, this way i get the best performance from whatever dac i am using.

phone andriod output is not great, using tidal in uapp or tidal standalone make very little different to me. yes, pc usb out is slightly better. tidal on 1am2 sound a lot better, but tidal on uapp on 1am2 sound the best.

i used with dap as source, and i can hear the difference btw the 2 cable.
