Measurement I have posted is between Hybrid and Angled Alcantara. Your graph is between "normal" and angled Alcantara. There is discrepancy.

I made myself 4 wire cable for my use, it's bit thicker, 24awg, litz 7n occ and quite happy with it. Same construction like this one(I use this with Qudelix 5k) just much longer

Did you try Meze Silver plated PUCHD? It is 8 wire cable.... I have one, unused in sealed box for selling if interested. I got it with headphones but too short for my use, 2.5meter and I need 3.1 to my couch.

Hi all, new to DAPs, need advice, what to buy, used or new, around 500, for in car, office or on trip for Meze Empyrean and HD800. PEQ is must have with separate L/R PEQ if possible. I known Qudelix 5k can do that but would prefer DAP Thanks

Elite is easy to take down with one hand but putting it back on demands good juggler.

How would you compere those two by comfort?

While waiting for Qudelix 5k I made 4 wire, balanced cable for Meze Elite, 2.5 balanced to 4 pin mini XLR. 2.5 is not as bad as it looks to solder, even managed to put heat shrink over every wire.

No big difference between the two on this graph, anyway I like them both and have hard time to choose between.... so keep rolling

Both pad sets on mine headphones where worn for about 2 hour each max . That is for first graph. For second graph where multiple headphones measurements are averaged , I am not sure....

For comfort I too find angled alcantara to be more comfortable but hybrid is ok as well. Here is averaged graph between 3 units oratory1990 did so far:
