Hakugei and NiceHCK on Ali will do custom jobs for no extra charge if you just ask them by message. There’s Luminox Audio and Effect Audio that will also offer Pentaconn In Ear as an option on all their cables, and the entry price is affordable for some enthusiasts- Half Note

i dunno, maybe they should mention semi-open back design if that is much of a problem, but this isnt the kind of iems you'd use on the train i feel like (theyre 400 bucks) so the openness isnt an issue when used at a desk- Half Note

The tonality is very reminiscent of the Monarch mk2 I find, the Pilgrim has that ”harsh crossover” feeling- Half Note

@Artmuzz the copper color case seems to be shipped with the earlier models, and the dark grey version is just the same as the IE600, ie they've been using the same case for the 600 and 900 going forward since the release of the 600- Half Note

@Rob49 I wouldn't take these on a plane, but they sure are an incredible pair to have around ! They really reveal everything about your setup too, so if you like your player these could be a great addition.- Half Note

@4ceratops this is just my experience with it, the irregular treble with it's dips and spikes are just a pain to listen to. It's not a treble Canon, just an uneven mess of a tuning. My copy may be bored I dunno- Half Note

Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200
For those curious about the Custom Comfort Tips recently announced for the IE Series, here's a video of the scanning process - They don't use traditional holding techniques, but a laser gun to make a 3D mapping of your ear canals, it's really cool ! With the 100 setting I felt like the bass lost some precision, but yes you can definitely EQ it up. It's not a particularly slammy type of bass, but more of a 2.0 monitor setup. You hear the bass, you don't feel it. You could check out my EQ section for the Sands, a lot of people liked it from...- Half Note

Yeah it's kinda needed, if you feel like it's too harsh I'd recommend you change the cable. Makes a huge difference on this IEM. I think the S&S are the best tips for the Sands, if you have fit issues they recently released an XL version- Half Note

Yes, it's very easy to drive. I still think you'd benefit from a good amp, as planars always tend to change when given enough juice.- Half Note

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
These were my first impressions, and the bass was definitely present on the TC, I think it's just a show thing. The clamping pressure was so light that head movements would throw the headphones out of place, which is what surprised me the most. The headband design is something you could get used...- Half Note

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
Abyss MR I tried the MR side by side with the TC yesterday, and it was my very first time listening to Abyss products. I must say I was quite impressed by the TC, but letdown just as much by the MR. I think the main problem is the fit, the clamping pressure is nonexistent and it makes for a lot...- Half Note
