ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

This unit was a B-stock/demo pair offered during the stabilized drop last month.

ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

FedEx dropped off my Kingwood Caldera yesterday. It has honestly exceeded my expectations across the board. I definitely prefer the stock pads over the thick pads. The extra energy and clarity is great for metal, hardcore, and progressive stuff with a lot going on in the mix. If I didn’t have...

My GS2 has been flawless. Granted, I’ve only had it for a month, but it’s been a headache-free month lol.

Different strokes for different folks. I absolutely adore the Chord design language. Definitely a thinking outside the box approach.

The (Un)Official Amp Thread For ZMF Headphones

Congrats on the AO, fellow Tennessean! The TT2 is an excellent DAC but I found its headphone amp is better suited for low impedance headphones. The amp performed well enough with my AC and VC I had at the time, but adding a tube amp left me speechless. I don't know what your budget looks like...

Great buyer! Prompt payment and clear communication. I couldn't ask for more!

    Schiit Yggdrasil Impressions thread

I bought a GS2 with Unison about a week ago and I couldn't be happier. I think Gen 5 is galvanically isolated so really either would be fine. You can always upgrade it later. I went with Unison because I know I would've lost sleep over wondering what I'm missing out on with Unison.

I’m looking to sell my Gungnir Multibit A2 with Unison USB. It’s fully optioned out and will include the original packaging, manual, and power cable. There is a scratch on the top of the chassis (included with time stamp) but the unit works as if it were new. Looking for $700 shipped...

    Schiit Gungnir DAC

I decided to part ways with my TT2 and stumbled onto a pretty nice deal on a Gumby with Unison USB! I bought it immediately and am patiently waiting for it to arrive. I have read that multibit/R2R dacs take a considerable amount of time to warm up. Is there any harm in leaving the device...

I didn't need to manhandle the steel band, but I have been told by many that my noggin is abnormally large so I may be an outlier.

The Drinking Fountain - Full-Size Headphone Discussion

I don't find the Atrium (Open or Closed) to be too soft for metal. However, maybe take a look at the Verite or Caldera if your library is mostly metal.

Woo Audio WA22 Amp Owner Unite

Just received my brand new WA22! Initial impressions are super positive. This is the first piece of equipment that made me tear up on first listen. I did notice that the volume pot on my unit is a little scratchy. Definitely some metal on metal going on. Is this normal?

    ZMF Atrium Closed

I used the HA-3A with the Verite Closed and Aeolus for a while. It’s quite nice for the price. Little too linear for my taste, but I could see why others would love it.

    ZMF Atrium Closed

I have always been deeply skeptical about burn-in, but these headphones have since turned me into a believer! I was honestly a little underwhelmed listening to the AC on the day I received my pair. To me, it sort of sounded like the AO but it was missing the magic that the AO brings to the...

The (Un)Official Amp Thread For ZMF Headphones

Maybe consider an Atrium Open over the Atrium Closed. I have the AC after owning the AO previously. The AC is good fun with bass heavy genres, but the AO is the better "all-rounder" in my experience. I'm not sure how it compares to the Caldera in that sense, as I have not listened to the Caldera...
