They as ‘as new’ mate, not new. Used for a good few hours. No discernible marks or wear (thumbs up to Sennheiser!). I’m past the return window I believe and I got rid of the box so not an option. And I’m using the balanced cable elsewhere. Hence the standard cable only.

lol They are mine mate, purchased from Amazon. Just prefer the Hd 600’s and moving them on. No other reason. Never taken the pads off let alone interfered with the drivers😀 If you’d like to pay more ££ just ask🤣

Yes the K7 is a noticeable upgrade from the K5 (in balanced form). I've owned both. The K9 goes even further IMO, but is obviously far more expensive. If you like the K5 the K7 will be perfect for you but with more power, more definition, improved soundstage and a beautiful timbre. At the moment...

I agree. I've settled on my 600s after having the 660s, the 660S2 and the 650s. I just find my 600s to give me "everything" that I'm looking for. Every nuance, every detail. Frankly I found my 660S2 to be somewhat muddy compared to my 600sand I've sold them. But each to their own obviously.

I get no ‘clicks’ like that on my K9. Totally silent. On start up as well as during use. I turned it off last night and stayed in the room to listen (just in case of post turn off ‘sounds’) and, once again, nothing at all.
