I know. I have a r-28 2022. What I was asking (probably phrased poorly) is if there was another brand of DAC that anyone can think of that lets you select the oversampling rate. I feel like this is a very rare feature.

The top gets warm with time, but mine has never been too hot to touch. I’ve never checked the bottom. I feel like there is good room and venting around the amp section. I have mine on a wire rack for now, so it has room to breathe.

I think the R-1 2021 does have the same or similar reclocking as the R-28 2022. That is completely based on the product pages though.

I use my R28 (2022) with a Singxer SU-2. Not exactly the same as the SU-6, but the reasons I am using it are for the isolation and the ability to customize the I2S pinout to be compatible with the R28.
