I haven't had many devices and headphones to compare, but the HE1000 Stealth with the ACRO CA1000 sounds remarkably good. It sounds for example much, much better than a Focal Clear OG. Also, almost all the comments about the HE1000 Stealth are on the side that it needs warm amps, and the ACRO...

I haven't tried it in comparison because in all my previous headphones ACRO CA1000 has been far superior in sound quality to the RME ADI2. With the HE1000 Stealth I haven't even tried it. I use ADI to connect it to an amplifier and speakers.

From what I have read, the ACRO CA100 can handle even the Susvara, although it doesn't squeeze its full potential as other amplifiers. But in principle we have a valid device to drive almost any headphone.

It can be used as a DAC connected to the computer with the USB cable by choosing the sound output in your favorite music player. As a DAC for speaker amplifier I have not used it, but it is ready for it. That's why it has RCA outputs.
