Could someone compare Fusion 1, Venom or other aftermarket cables on the Anni? How do you deal with the recessed ports on Ibasso devices and the LL cables? Just with a 4.4mm extension cable?

Are there other options then 4.4mm to 4.4mm extension cable for the LL termination to fit in recessed ibasso ports?

Demoed the SE300. I don’t really know. There is just the option on the „main menu“ to install and uninstall the app. I didn’t manage to install the app during the session.

You can order and demo it and see how it synergies with your IEMs/headphones. I would go for the Ibasso, especially because you can „upgrade“ with the PB5 on the long run. Now back to the topic 😅

You should maybe look for the Ibasso D16. It has optical in. You can order and test it on hifipassion.de and test it for 2 weeks. Twister tested those devices compared it to the 320Max and the sound quality is on the same level as the R8 and the N7.

The UAC1.0 sound quality is bad compared to the optical on the H7. I would upgrade. I use it with my Hifiman HEK V3 and the sound quality is mile’s ahead compared to other gaming headphones.

Just bought the Annihilator 2023, normally I don’t really listen to classical music. But this set blows me and my HE1000 V3 out of the water. I have never heard classical music like that

I own the Shanling H7 and I’m asking myself if the DX260 is an improvement in sound quality? I own the Annihilator 2023 and the Arya Organic. Is the DAP a good pairing with the Anni?

Ok you clearly underpowered it by quite a margin. I use the Shanling H7 and I think it could use more juice even on med or high gain. I own the Ifi Go Bar and the Anni sounds flat using the dongle (the go blue is even less powerful). Make sure to at least use the RU7 or something with more power

I tried them, Clariton, Spinfit W1 and the Crystals and I prefer the Crystal comfort and soundwise. The stage is wider and the subbass bloat (if you want to name it like that) is a bit better.
