Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
Quad + Normal Gain at 50 Volume --> 10+ hours battery left around 20% Quad + Normal Gain + 4.4mm Line Out --> 12 hours battery left around 11% I use it regularly to and at work, I don't even bother pausing during meetings / lunch. The main reason I am unwilling to let this go (dying to get the...- M4tchb0X

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
how nice investment for 5N Silver !!! details must be ozzing with the treble sending shivers down your spine (of course in a good way) ! How do they feel? I'm using copper and silver cable and had been wanting to try silver cables !- M4tchb0X

Astell&Kern Launches New A&norma SR35 Player
For that budget you have a lot of other DAPs to play with, I mainly chose the SR35 for it's portability (slipped into my laptop sleeve / jeans pocket) sufficient battery life and for some reason the UI comes naturally to me, it's my first AK by the way (For cost reasons) LOL.- M4tchb0X

I think the main reason is smoother / faster UI due to improved specs, definitely 4.4mm if you're using that and a different Quad DAC setup that provides different sound sig.- M4tchb0X

First timer, most likely going this year to try the Fei Wans from Aroma Audio ~ Damn, just realized RSA wouldn't be here... well considering Ray's age... but would be awesome to meet the man the legend- M4tchb0X

Best thing about 3rd party cable is they definitely do not stick or lose signal like the stock sennheiser cables which irritate the crap out of me.- M4tchb0X

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Yeah aftermarket tips and cables really needed... but look at the price we pushed the IEMs, cables + tips probably add 40% - 50% of the IE600 ahha. No regrets though, the IE600 if you love treble energy is my end game non-custom IEM. I'm running a pair of 4N Silver + 6N Copper litz from...- M4tchb0X

For those looking for a better tips, look no further --->>> Just gotten the Divinus Velvet... my gawd.... Just get it!!! Only downside is you need to use a bit of force and technique to circle the tips around the IEM inorder to get it to fit. Perfect seal, super comfortable annd the SQ is just...- M4tchb0X

The 900s has the edge over details and soundstage, never heard the Focal Clear MG so i can't comment. Overall, including bass, tonality ... IE600 for me.- M4tchb0X

Hated the Senns eartips because they don't give me a good seal, even after multiple fiddling the seal doesn't stay in place when I walk. All the tips i tried - Tangzu sancai widebore - Tangzu sancai regular - Tangzu x Hbb Heyday regular stock eartips - SpinFit CP100 - Final Audio Type E Eartips...- M4tchb0X

Own the QueStyle M15, very happy with it. The RU7 sounds really nice ~ I don't think you'd have issues running through the USB-C without the dong. You'd hear different stuff with different dongs. Battery life wise no comment, not a fruit user.- M4tchb0X

Appreciation thread for the Ray Samuels - SR-71A: I just spend the night listening to the SR-71A with a cold beer and nothing to distract me.
Had the SR-71B for a good month+ the graininess is absolutely gone, I simply adore the RSA amps, using the SR71B permanently as my desktop with Denafrips Ares II as the DAC balance out. The SR71A is my on the go pairing with AK SR35. Big thank you to Audio Addict, absolutely saved my a$$ for...- M4tchb0X

The stock IE600 cable is really trash, loses signal when cables move at certain angles, sticky, tangles... suggest you replace them anyways. I doubt the drivers have QC issues so if you can budget in a set of cables i think all's good.- M4tchb0X

i just received the SR71B yesterday, Single Ended, the SR71A is just significantly better in every ways, bass thumps, melody sings, vocals triggered emotions... perhaps because the SR71A had been burned in compared to the SR71B... which kinda sounds grainy in bass as well as high treble with...- M4tchb0X
