Can IEM's compete with the HiFiMAN HE1000 Stealth?
A lot has happened over the last year, and I've been lucky enough to try out a lot of gear. Quite a number of headphones, but also a few IEM's. I've only tried entry to low-mid level IEM'S so far, but it has been a very nice experience. You get a lot of great sound for the money. It is a...- Lindholdt

The Stax Thread III
I'm considering listening to some Stax headphones to hear what they have to offer. I have the option to try a set of SR-007mk2. Are these somewhat representative of what Stax headphones can do, or are they pretty much outdated at this point? Is there a better option I should try at this price...- Lindholdt

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Finally it arrived! Had to give it a spin, even though it is hot as Hell tonight 💿😅 So no headphones, even though the HD600's are begging to be used for this one. I'm on the Sony 338ESD, to Aune S17 Pro and then into the Tanchjim Origin, sounds fantastic 👌 Albion - Lakesongs of Elbid 💿 Have...- Lindholdt

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
God point! I haven't tried electrostatics, and should definitely hear what they have to offer. The L700-MKII is not crazy expensive here either, which is nice. Thanks for the reminder :) I like them quite a bit, and have linked them a few times earlier in this tread as well :) Seal the deal and...- Lindholdt

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Evening session in the listening chair, just relaxing and hearing some nice music after a day at the office (with a few breaks in the sun 🌞) Roger and HD600 was the obvious choice for this album, and the combination does not disappoint. So glad I went ahead and gor the HD600's, even though I...- Lindholdt

FIIO Q15 DAC and Headphone Amplifier Discussion & Impressions Thread
If you are using a desktop, why not just use Equalizer APO for all EQ needs? It works for all DAC's?- Lindholdt

In-ear headphone recommendation?
I haven't heard the two IEM's, so I can't really recommend any of them. My point was just that you should not pay too much attention to the frequency response range, when making your decision.- Lindholdt

In-ear headphone recommendation?
The ability to recreate a larger part of the frequency range does not indicate anything about how advanced or "good" the driver is. You can have very bad drivers or integrations of drivers that can recreate 20+khz. So I would not put too much into this. I'm also struggling to see how +20khz...- Lindholdt

Best IEM tips?
Woah! So much great information, thanks a lot! I'm getting all excited to try this out, as I most likely have underrated the importance of tips so far. With the stock tips for the IEM's I already have, and the ones I've ordered, I think I'll have enough to get a very good idea of how much it...- Lindholdt

In-ear headphone recommendation?
No, for most people it won't make any difference at all, as they can't hear above 20khz. The normal hearing range for humans is 20hz to 20khz. There are some (not many, and if you are older than 30, chances are really slim) that can hear slightly above 20khz, but even if you are one of the very...- Lindholdt

Best IEM tips?
I was mostly asking for recommendations to ensure that I get something that is different from each other, not what fit others well. But I appreciate you input and advice 🙏 Fantastic, will take a look at all of those 👌 Thanks a lot, appreciate it 👍- Lindholdt

Best IEM tips?
So... As someone who has really started to enjoy IEM's over the last few months, but have not spend much time tip rolling, I'm wondering where to start? I guess it would make sense to try out vastly different tips, to get a rough idea of what works for me, yes? Can you guys recommend 3-4...- Lindholdt

Blast from the past, while working today from home. Had to pull up the HD1000's to get all the most out of all the effects and bass Mr. Cook put into these tracks :) Fatboy Slim - You've come a long way, Baby. Tidal, SMSL DO100, Violectric V200 and HiFiMAN HE1000 Stealth- Lindholdt

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
I'm actually at work today, so I'm using the Q15 as this is what I've set up at the office. It's a great little device, for sure, and something I could probably downscale to fully if I wanted to. But where is the fun in that? :D Some nice beats to work to, nothing crazy, but just overall good...- Lindholdt

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Spending some time in the listening chair tonight 👍 The album is a digital one I bought at Bandcamp Friday a few weeks ago; Unicorn by Ugress. Some really great soundscapes in this one, they really did a great job mixing and mastering this, so that the music is presented in a very fun and...- Lindholdt

Malia & Boris Blank is helping me through the work day, with the brilliant Convergence album :) Working from home today, so the Violectric V200 is on duty, as it is part of my desktop system. I started with the DT770's, but it's too hot today, so I switched to Tanchjim Origin, and they are...- Lindholdt

Tonight's setup: HiFiMAN HE1000 Stealth, Aune S17 Pro and the old Sony 338. Starting out with Hugo Kant and the album "Out of Time", will turn on the R7 and listen to some of the stuff that's been posted recently in this thread, once the CD is done 👍- Lindholdt

No it's not super important, and I'm more interested in the updated Xmos chip, than the upped sample rate, as I will be using this mostly with my PC.- Lindholdt
