Susvaras can scale more than with 6wpc, there are better amps. But the gt runs the susvara at least effortless, engaging and with a soundstage size enough big to smile. I have also a tooping a90 and the difference is huge. I think the gt is good enough to enjoy a lot but not an end game. But...

I got the gt for 2 years and had any problem. I love it. It can drive my susvaras effortless. But i wouldnt buy again such a exotic thing (from australia) living in the EU. Its risky.

Even if hifiman releases a new flagship it would cost immanis range or even more. It remains to be seen if the improving will worth the price difference. Now you can buy a “new” susvara (open box) for 4k. Im more in buying things when the new version is released and the prices go down.

Sometimes i think we are exaggerating a little bit. Susvara sounds great whatever the source is. Even when i watch tv with a bluetooth connection, i get goose bumps sometimes. Just give it the power susvara needs and the fun is guaranteed. Then the quality of the sound will depend of the chain...

Im not an expert but i would say in the cheap side could be a gustard r26 and in the expensive but reasonable side maybe a holo may. The schiit ygdrasil is another interesting dac for its price. If you are interested in performing close to the HE1, look at trafomatic primavera amp. Its a beast...

The only thing you MUST consider is that susvaras are very inefficient, 83db at 60 ohms. Hence you need a lot of power and i think that manley marvel has not enough power to drive the susvaras. I m going feliks envy after summer. I think is priced more or less like the manley and is powerful enough.

In terms of power, of course. In terms of synergy i can t tell. It drives susvara on medium gain, even at very loud volumes with a powerful bass, a very good slam and a beautiful soundstage, and susvara is even less sensitive.

How much are you going to pay? Because you can buy an open box susvara edition with 3 years of warranty for 4k, directly from hifiman shop. I had to replace the right driver after 3 months of use, and hifiman did, of course. Whatever would be the quality i wouldnt buy such a expensive thing...

I have the GT too and i dont hear sibilance. Its not a warm sound, the gt is very neutral like the susvaras. Arya were fatiguing without eq, but i have zero fatigue with susvara. I never use eq now. Do you use the stock cable? I think it works well in the tame of the highs. With my meze cable...

I run my susvaras on medium gain. 5% of the music needs high gain (i like it very loud). But i dont get loud volumes at 32. I use to listen 60-80 (medium).
