Dang yeah. The red module exposes even more, and no sibilance whatsoever. I'm very treble sensitive usually so I hadn't really spent much time with the red module.

Seems to be the likely cause. I was quite surprised to have my feelings validated by noticing the serial mismatch

I'm not terribly certain they will send replacements for this. But if they do, I might ask if I can move into customs for a small upcharge. Would also just be happy if they found the matching unit (maybe its sitting around in their office somewhere LOL)

Hey thanks for letting me know. I'll call FiR after the christmas break and see if they can fix me up. Not that I intend to sell my IEMs any time soon, but I think having mismatched serials would really make me take a hit on second hand value.
