Hi there. Can anyone briefly compare SR3 vs. Moondrop Para, Venus or vs Audeze lcd2c? (Yup, kinda different headphones, but some say SR3 are transparent, resolving, the other say they are warm and a bit dark, so I’m a little bit confused 😁)

A few days ago I had a pleasure to try some 300-500$ headphones( + HiFiMAN Arya Organic): Ananda nano, edition xs, hd490, hd650 and para. You can call me deaf, but Arya Organic and Para were way better than the rest, what’s more, I haven’t heard that price difference. I don’t know if Arya is...

I’ve heard that switching from v5 to v6/v7 series can also „change the sound to be more quiet or loud, depending on a combination”. Sorry for lame question, but are v6/v7 opamps able to make an impact on outputs power?

Guys, do you think z8 is able to drive audeze lcd2c? I’ve heard that the amp inside is pretty midrange and wonder if it’s going to be enough for lcd2c, or it will be a miss without an external amp.

@Polky74 I want to pair it with audeze lcd2c and prefer a mixture of fun and organic sound. Ta-22 has a tube amp, generally sounds somewhere in between analog and analytical ess sound. The only thing I’m concerned is, that tubes/r2r will muffle the sound even more, than it already is 😁

Can anyone compare ef400 with xduoo ta-22? Both have similar price tag and sound signature.

That’s not what I meant, probably wrote it imprecisely :P. To clarify, I wanted to ask about the general differences between philips r2r DACs, that had been implemented in older stuff, now probably in ef499 and himalaya r2r which is already known from ef400 and will be in ef500.
