Well at home I listen to my IEMs and roaming around outside I use my TWS earbuds with a pair of Starline tips that I got with my PR2s so the HS18 tips could work...we'll see as I went ahead and put an order in on Aliexpress for a kit containing six pairs (2 each of S/M/L) for just under $10...

I like what I've seen about the HS18s except for the very thin shell that I have seen some people say is very hard to get a good seal.

After figuring I'd be waiting quite a while longer to get them, my Castor Bass have arrived in my mailbox. Can't wait to get home so I can take them for an audio ride to see if they live up to the hype or not.

They probably don't care. I mean why would they? Has that kind of stuff really hurt their bottom line up to this point? Hell, I knew about the controversy with the PR2s and I still took a chance by buying a set. Everyone still buys their stuff because the risk is worth the possible reward.

I've been eyeing the Vader as well. Not sure if the Balanced or Hi Res would be better or if it's another situation where grabbing both might be the way to go.

I've been seriously considering grabbing a pair of the Harman Castors to go with the Bass Castors I'm still waiting to receive from the KZ store due to their insanely low price and all the praise being heaped on them.

Anyone tried Penon Liqueur tips on PR2s? I've seen a lot of folks talking about how great they are and was just wondering how they might sound on this set and whether the orange or black would be better. Or maybe both with different use cases for each.

Just for the record...listening to Infant Annihilator on my PR2s is downright orgasmic. And Swallow the Sun mentioned earlier on them is breathtaking. Love that band. Can't wait to get the FiiO KA11 to hopefully enhance the experience even further. 🤘🤘

If you get the bottle of foam spray then you can just spray a little on a cloth (microfiber preferably) and then clean the IEM by rubbing it. You don't need to soak the cloth, just enough to dampen it. If you use the powder you can use it just straight out of the can on most things but for what...

BKF stuff is amazing. I first learned of it when I was bartending back in the day (yeah yeah I know lol) and I've used it around my house for as long as I can remember.

For those who may be looking for a nice carrying case for your KZ IEMs...I just got one of these to hold my PR2s with 784 core cable and it is VERY nice. Probably going to order another one for my Castor Bass when it finally arrives. Hopefully the link works...

Just looked...yes it is. The official KZ silver/blue hybrid 784 core cable is really nice and should work on the Hydro. I just got one for my PR2s and it's great. You can find it at the official KZ store, Amazon, Aliexpress and several other places and it's not too expensive.

Isn't it just the same QDC / C-pin connector that CCA / KZ use on most all their IEMs?
