Stellar review! I'm not much of a bass aficionado, but your review makes me want to try this "change of pace" iem! Thanks!

I've tried it during can jam London and I found it a great disappointment. There was just too much bass and not quality bass. Just bloated, boomy bass messing the whole tonal balance.

Wow, that's not a review, that is a book about CPA's golden IEM.

@wolfstar76 it was a labour of love lol... @Another Audiophile well we all hear things differently don't we.
Another Audiophile
@Rockwell75 sure we do.

BTW @Rockwell75 I enjoyed your writing. That was certainly entertaining.

Thank-you @Another Audiophile that means a lot. I'm a writer at heart and I get almost as much joy out of expressing myself in words as from experiencing the gear itself. Cheers.

"As such I am more concerned with the overall gestalt of an IEM’s performance than breaking it down into its constituent parts."

Love the design and quirkiness of both the IEM and cable. Listened to this at UK Canjam, analogue best way to describe this. Penon Serial, though, does it all much better for less.....

Nice review of the Trifecta. Your opinions are clear and I appreciate the balanced comparisons showing the strengths and weaknesses of the IEM. Although I might not be the target market for this particular IEM, I can greatly appreciate from your report, how enjoyable this could be when I am looking for something unique to the market. And every once in a while, a great 1960 Klipsch Klipschorn can be fun too.
Wow, I guess they were built from post ww2!

Wow, what a comprehensive and detailed review. I love reading reviews perhaps because I can use my own imagination to “hear” what the reviewer is describing with their words. You’ve done an amazing job conveying what you are hearing with Trifecta and how it’s the ultimate conduit to the emotional connection you feel with your music. Brilliant @Rockwell75!

@Rhythim this is not for everyone. It's for the hardcore fans, I wouldn't say it as gatekeeping rather its because the manufacturing procedure for these is very strenuous. I also look at it being a limited edition a way for campfire to avoid these getting into the hands of people who makes fakes. As you see, Campfire's Andromeda, their most popular product to date, is one of the most faked iem. There are countless "DiY" versions of these at a fraction of the costs.

@Rockwell75 thx for your review!
I‘ve been listening to these on a local headfier meeting and decided to get these on next occasion and luckily I found a good used opportunity and expecting them to arrive in about a week from now.
Can you please add the PEQ settings which you mentioned in your review?
Cheers

2k -> +2.0
