It's a good summary and I like my i5 pretty much. However, few points to be noted: It has hiss! Pretty obvious with sensitive IEMs. I am still trying to get used to it, also soon changing to less sensitive earphones which I hope will solve this problem.
Then it does not play gapless (yet). This is important if you have lots of live albums (like me). So until this is fixed with firmware you can only use 3rd party apps for live albums. Both these points I find a bit strange as total black background and poper gapless should be very high on the priority list when developing a DAP. Afraid hiss is a hardware issue and cannot be fixed by firmware.
Then, not related to the player: The original case unfortunately is a fail. It is too loose and the player can accidentally slip out when turned upside down. I started using the player without the case again to prevent accidents.
Otherwise I really like it: Not too warm as the N5, superb build quality, good screen. Some other firmware flaws have been reported in the main thread and will hopefully be addressed soon.
