Wow.  I just sent my Silver Dragons in to be re-terminated with an XLR connector.  They seemed pleasant enough in my limited interaction.  

I am curious to learn how one of your repairs could come back "worse" than when it went in.  Can you share a little more about that problem?

I've used mine a dozen times, trated them with the respect $200 cables deserve and my cable has detatached from the connector too .... they blamed me, refused to repair them and wanted to sell me a new pair .... I wont write what I think of them .. b ut will caution anyone from doing business with them.

I'm not questioning your experiences, but in my years reading here I have never heard this feedback about Moon cables. I don't own any myself, but given we only have a very limited amount of negative data, I think it is safe to say that these two experiences deviate greatly from most in the community. It is a shame that your experiences were negative, and if indeed Moon were not as customers service focused as they should be I hope they learn from the experience. I have been in sales and customer service all of my life and sadly I have seen more customer blaming than is warranted. I know the customer isn't always right, but the company isn't always right either. I hope Moon takes care of both of you properly and fairly.
 
Regardless of fault, it is a sign of poor communication/conflict resolution skills when your customers become so angry they seek to publically shame you. There is always a better way forward. And as for the customers, I hope you were polite in your communications, I have seen many rude, entitled, poor social skills customers who start off with a confrontational tone.

Just a bit of my background, I always give the benefit of the doubt, seek peaceful resolution and try to elevate and edify everyone.   I appreciate quality and expect to be treated as fairly as I treat others.  In addition to being a lover of music and high quality playback, I'm sales and customer service consultant with my sales training firm that has worked with many clients, the names of whom you would recognize.  I understand that that some customers are unreasonable and I don't wish to be one of them.   I posted my entire email thread with the company so that anyone can decide for themselves whether I'm self-righteous or perhaps justified in m review of Moon Audio.

I was interested in purchasing a new silver cable for my SE846, what held me back was the following :

a. Generic look, nothing stands out of the crowd
b. With $200 in hand, I can get better cables from other sellers
c. The first reviews were rather negative, and this one is definitely destructive

I really want to give Moon Audio a try, but I have serious doubts on their stuffs with such feedbacks
