@wpiaz: Looking forward to such a comparison. But you need to allow the Ether C a good burn in. They are pre-burned for 40 hours, but it wasn't until I did burn 100 hours on my own until the bass and mids opened up more. Now the sound is really beautiful and layered. Lot's of layers and you hear everything coming through potently, yet in a relaxed and laid-back fashion (modded with 2 black tuning pads in my case). They really sing now.
wpiaz: What amp do you use, and do you have good DAC, hopefully with De-Jitterer? Allow burn in of 100 hours. I can only say, the sound now is almost perfect. It is a Synergie of TH900, LCD-2 and something else. Detailed, colorful, powerful, walls of sound streaming around my ears. Can't imagine anything better (ok there always is something better lol)
