My OG Hook-X sure doesn't have a very big soundstage at all... So I would doubt this does. Its near complete lack of frontal depth is my main complaint with it. I can't tell if basically everything has been recreated for this model, reading through the above information about it, mentioning, "the new Hook-X..." several times. The OG Hook-X was already open-back(?), and probably has the exact same "shock driver bracket structure". Unless this new model actually increases soundstage, I won't be biting; OG Hook-X is otherwise perfect already.

The OG managed such a fine balance in terms of tuning, why mess with something that isn't broken? OG > HBB 100%

@itwasluck People are telling me the HBB has a massive stage, and way better imaging and clarity... So I got one for myself to see lol. Will open it up today, hopefully.

Update: So it's a much more neutral sounding IEM, with more clarity, brightness, and standard balance. The magic flavor of the original has left the building. It is a fine IEM, however, just sounds like another standard KZ ZSX or BLON 03 or something like that.

Funny you say that, mine are coming in tomorrow. I been loving the OG but I really want to have both, the Hook-X is that good.
