Zeos really got me thinking about this. I am tempted to buy it and cut out the center of the pads. Of course this may ruin that wonderful tuning. Or maybe it becomes a 109Pro wannabee?
Well, they have the same driver size, look and impedance as the Shure SRH 1840 flagship? Which I’ve never heard? Also people say they resemble the HD600, which I heard 14 years ago.....so? Take out the center screen and report back......hehe. Though these were carefully designed and constructed, not so sure what would happen, but another thing you could do it try other pads on em? There is very much a way they fit that is optimal to get the lower frequencies that are there, as if they didn’t they (maybe) wouldn’t be so smooth, IMO.
It seems like a lot of headphone for $129.00.........I mean what else can you buy for that?
But you will note that the screen is one side foam padded and the other side a cloth. Nothing like the sheerness of some, like the k701. I bet someone will start with a tiny hole to see where the frequency goes? Like the hole from a hole punch? Maybe in the exact center? But the k701 has a layer of foam separate and if you take that out, all is lost. So maybe they are in fact the same?
