Hey Val, How come shipping to Australia is at least 35 bucks when on ebay your store ships for like 7 bucks to Australia.

I didn't check how much shipping the BLISS will cost but I too scared to check just in case I accidentally order it and it turns out that its 35 bucks for shipping.

is it worth the money??

If it was $75 or lower I'd say yes.  I personally like them, love the design, and how versatile they are (Works with my smartphone unlike the IE8i) but IDK if I'd be willing to pay $99 again, especially if the non-True Blood versions are lower in price. They aren't bad headphones though.

And on a side note... is it possible to exchange my REVAMP for the Maker IEM that was just released? I like the design on those way more than the REVAMP...and it was released 2 weeks after I bought the REVAMP!!!!!

Contact Support@v-moda.com, if you bought direct you can pay difference and upgrade or we can give you $50 off Maker since you have this dilemma as a solution.

N-JOY!

FWIW, I threw everything but the kitchen sink at these (don't want to break them although I am sure they will survive - probably break the sink too) and I found them to be fantastic. As far supra-aurals go, the M-80's are the ones to beat in sound quality, aesthetics and comfort. I highly recommend them if you want a great sounding versatile headphone that is portable and stylish.

Hey guys,
I've been in the market for a new set of headphones I can use with my Dell Venue Pro on the go. I've been using the Skullcandy Aviators as my headphones, but as already mentioned, I'm looking to get a new set. Basically, what I want out of a portable headphone is for it to look good, be durable, and hopefully sound good as well. My main two questions are:
I have tried to purchase the V-Moda V-80s off of the V-moda website, but they do not ship to australia? I have contacted V-moda, but am really confusded with the whole ticket thing.
And secondly, are these headphones better than my aviators? :)
Thanks,
Chris

The Aviators have been getting some good reviews and I find them to be nice sounding and the V80 is only 50USD more so I'm guessing it is going to be more of a side-grade

I was hoping to buy the M80's until a deal on the beyerdynamic t50p's came up. Now I have the t50p's coming in but my mind is still fixated on the M80's and asking "What if?" Has anybody done a comparison between the two phones yet?

Hey guys (or if mr valkolton chooses to chime in also), just wanted to know if there Is a difference between the vibrato/maker, vibe, and revamp in sound quality? Seems like only thing mentioned as a change is the Tips. Been using the vibes for about 3 yrs and bass freq's b4 that. Have the LP's but i realize now that I'm an in-ear guy and the lp's don't hit me as hard as I like (though they are a lot "clearer" than the vibes and the vocals are waaaay better, But vibes give me that KICK in my ear that I like :)

I am planning to purchase the Fostex HP-P1 (which will be my first portable DAC/amp) after watching your video review. The question is, how does the M-80 perform with the HP-P1? The M-80 seems like a very interesting product, but do you think it matches well with the HP-P1?

Also, it's a bit off-topic, but are there any advantages of using the iPod touch or the iPhone over the iPod classic in a portable rig?

Thanks, Jude.

Mark my word:  The V-80/M-80 will be a popular headphone with Head-Fi'ers (although I think the non-True-Blood-branded M-80 will be the one most Head-Fi'ers go for).  Again, to my ears, it's a very good portable over-ear headphone, and I feel very confident there'll be a lot of agreement here on this (once more have heard it).

Given the previous V-MODA products I've used (including the Crossfade LP), I was caught off-guard with how hard they strived for audiophile-quality sound with this one.  Val Kolton (V-MODA's founder) was very forthcoming with me in its development process, sharing a lot of data and measurements; and, before I actually heard it, I was surprised to see the headphones they were considering this new model's competitors (and that showed up in comparative measurements/data he shared with me)--at least a couple of this community's favorite closed headphones came up regularly.

Again, I'll say more about this headphone later, but I think it sounds great, and the bonus is it's very nice looking on and off the head (if that matters to you).
