We previewed two HE models at this year's CES, HE-400i and HE-560. An official launch is coming closer to their delivery in April.

Time to save money for the HE-560!

Dear Sir, my HE-500 have all O rings cracked after about 7 months of usage, here is the part where I currently using teflon tape to fill that gap to stop the annoying buckling of the metal arc holding the earcups. Can I ask for possibility to buy back these o rings for replacement? Since I am in Hong Kong I know it's nonsense of sending me these stuffs costing a few bucks for material with shipping cost far exceeding the O-rings itself, but can I have the O ring size so I can buy and replace myself?

Thanks
Sam

When you say "O ring", are you referring to the earcup?

I mean the small rubber ring that sits between the earcup plastic and the metal frame holding it to the headband. With that broken and lost there's a gap between the earcup and the frame, causing an annoying wobbling. Thus I temprarily use the white Teflon tapes to fill that at the meantime. Thanks

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the build quality of your headphones (HE-500).
After nearly 7 months of use the paint on the yokes/gimbals is, in some places, almost completely gone. Every month I was cleaning earcups and yokes with dry lens tissue cloth. I haven't thought that the cloth I use to clean my glasses will cause the paint, on the headphones, to peel off.

I really love this headphones. Sound is just fantastic, but for 700$ i was expecting it to sound and look great for more than two years, not half of the year.
To resolve my problem I would appreciate to receive a spare yokes if possible, or a replacement.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem.

Sincerely,
George

PS. Sorry for my English.

We often moan about poor service here, so it's correct to praise when appropiate.

I have received wonderful help and service from Fang, Summer and especially Zhang at Head-Direct - a big thank you
and I can't wait to get my 901
