For real?! I also ordered via dealer with clear cable...
I am going to give him a call ASAP!
 
If this is true, it would a total BS for those guys that are already waiting such a long time!

In the local forum, at least 3-4 of us that ordered the CF Roxanne through Jaben during the BF period, received a call from Jaben last night...
Basically Jaben told us that if we agree to take the clear cable, the ciems will be shipped from JH in a few days....

Not shooting the messenger. Just having my head blown by the fact that this situation can arise. Completely flabaghasted. Of course, I want everybody to get their Roxannes - I just feel like myself and Al as just two guys that paid preBF prices are sitting here in the situation that we are.

Just called my dealer, apparently I am on list/batch 8 from 2#... and I will just have to wait longer. Seemingly, this has nothing to do with the whole dealer first story but with Jaben only...

I am very interested to see if this is truly happening...

I agree that it should be FIFO.
The fact that you guys paid in full makes it even harder to stomach.
If I were in the same boat as you or Al, I'll definitely shoot a nasty letter to JH or post something on their FB wall to express my dissatisfaction

i registered just to post this, have been tracking this thread past 4 months!
early november order, full price and not receiving yet. Perhaps they waited and sent in with BF orders but charged me full price. if so, it WILL be my very last expenditure with them!
 
luckily i sense something wrong and got my AK120 and portable amp from another dealer a month back instead, better priced than theirs as well (by a considerable margin)!
 
they could offer some "special" but it is still marked up price. everything can "special" for them. just empty words

My conspiracy theory is it could be due to the "relationship" between JH and Uncle Wilson of Jaben.
Just think of the number of times that Jerry was in Asia this past few years to take part in any Jaben-organised headphone festivals?

Or uncle Wilson can't take anymore the daily order follow ups which are getting gruesome as the day goes by. Takes it upon himself and talked to JH to see what's holding the shipment and came out with the proposed compromise
