Hey all - the I am re-introducing the original ZMF's as the "ZMF Classic,"  many changes were made utilizing the t50rp MK III and a ton of stuff I learned while making the Omni, Blackwood and Vibro.  I think it's a really good value!

The package includes:

  1. ZMF Classic with Carbon Panels
  2. ZMF Classic Tuning with channels matched to within 1db +/-
  3. Stock Cable
  4. ZMF Premium Earpads (your choice of material)
  5. ZMF Pilot Pad
  6. Optional Seahorse Case
  7. Optional Balanced Jakcs (Audeze Style)

Check out the Classic HERE.

Do these differ from the originals in any way?

We switched to the MK III enclosure, revised our damping scheme and used trickle down from our newer models to make it the best we possibly could.  It really turned out much better than the original ZMF's IMHO.

I can add bass if desired for no extra price as a free one time retune does apply to the classic, but I do recommend people hear the stock tuning for reference before making changes. Ofcourse this isn't 100 percent necessary.

These are a killer value! If I could do it all over again, I would buy this pair of headphones first, and be happy for a long time. Give these babies some power (lyr 3), and they will sing.

Can we opt for the suspension band instead of pilot pad?

I think they come stock with the suspension band? Due to the new Fostex headband (mkiii). I bought mine second hand (low hours), and they had the suspension band.

@zach915m - I caught a dead link in the FAQ tab of the Classics page. Thought you might want to know.

I asked as Zach's post said:

ZMF Pilot Pad

Just curious.
