I am Very sensitive to sound and other senses- headphones help needed! :(

This is not so much to do with sound quality for once ( though i do want to address a little thingy about that too). and its not about a single pair of headphones. This is about issues across the board that I stugle with and have done so for years- given my sensitive nature to such things.:- So...

campfire audio andromeda 2018 left iem extreme sensitivity

I recently bought a pair of used 2018 andromedas- they look like new, however, the left iem has some extreme sensitivity and will buzz / make very loud white noise if I hold my phone while it is charging. This goes away when playing anything. The fact that it does not happen with the right iem...

    Dumb question about sensitivity.

Hi All. May I ask for simple clarification if possible? I have a HiBy R6. It has high output impedance. I’m trying to understand the comments about high sensitivity iems. There are figures always published with every pair and a general warning from HiBy owners to avoid low impedance iems...

VE (Venture Electronics) Zen 2 Dice Edition

VE ZEN II. This is the Dice edition. The Dice is the name given to the cable, which is a triple twisted copper cable. The earbuds are sensitive enough to need no amping and sophisticated enough to perform better with a DAP, DacAmp or Dragonfly/HE Odyssey type ultra portable dac dongle

Speaker input sensitivity: lower or higher?

My active speakers have two pairs of RCA inputs, manual states their sensitivities as: AUX: 550mV +-50mV PC: 700mV +-50mV Which should I use? And what difference would it make? My DAC's manual states: Line Out output level: 2.38Vrms @ 1kHz I am new to this and any comment is welcome.

    Impedance and Sensitivity - Relationship

Hi all, Impedance of the headphones i (think i) understand - it is the resistance provided by the headphone circuit. Higher impedance = harder to drive as more resistance (often thinner wire with more coils = higher resistance, which i think is how beyer do it with their multi impedance...
