Adjustable gain headphone amplifier for $75-150

I am looking for a headphone amplifier to use instead of my TEAC UD-H01 DAC's built in one. I feel like the DAC's degrading the sound on my Beyerdynamic COPs since it is fixed gain and these really need a lower gain setting. But I also have a DT 990 600 Ohm so I need a high gain setting as well...

    Music Hall ph25.2 / TEAC UD-H01 / Audeze LCD-2s

I picked up the Music Hall yesterday here in Sacramento and it really made the Audeze LCD-2 headphones really come to life. Huge improvement over just using the TEAC for a headphone amp. I wonder if the little tubes can be upgraded :)

Hi there fellows.   Good news for audio-gd DAC or DI - users with a Squeezebox Touch! They can now be connected over Asynchronous USB.   It might work for other TE8802L - Based DACs, too. In particular for instance, TEAC UD-H01. Here is a list of some of them...

TE8802 (asynchronous DACs) on Linux and Squeezebox Touch supported? (With Triode's App for the SBT?)

Hello! I am about to upgrade my audio-gd.com Reference 9 with the TE8802 - Chip - upgrade. That will make it support asynchronous USB. My main intention is, to connect the DAC by USB to the squeezebox touch SBT. This would potentially be an enhancement in audio quality. At least I hope so...
