I own all 3. Regardless of sound, I won't use Maxwell for music as they're just way too big / heavy compared to PX8 / Bathys.

Unfortunately that's the same issue for me, they're kind of too heavy...

Yeah, I probably wouldn’t go out in the world with them, so they are limited for mobile use compared to PX8 and Bathys—which is admittedly the point of BT headphones. But I do find myself reaching for them when just listening around the house or while working because they sound so dang smooth, which I didn’t expect. (I’m not a big fan of Bathys which sound a bit thin and artificial around the mids to me, prob because of their dip around 800-900 Hz. I like PX8 more for the warm timbre.)

The ZMF Crescent "Snap" headband I bought last year "broke" after a few weeks. The buttons just came loose and fell off. Not just one, but three out of the five buttons.
The store I bought it from is refunding me, so getting the ZMF Pilot ones now. Hopefully they are better.

Also tried the new version of the Wicked Cushions headband, they sent one out for free since I bought the first version, and it's better than the previous version, but still hurts my head (short hair) after an hour or so. So even tho it's improved, I can't use it. One thing they improved a lot was the holes, and attaching it to the headset was MUCH easier with v2.

This may be an issue with your pad beng picked up as an audio device.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DS4Windows/comments/110zu97/dualsense_ps5_controller_is_recognized_as_an/

Testing with various controllers, we've never seen this issue, so we would recommend trying these solutions above. We understand it's a different controller but solutions may be similar.

The detected device has your vendor ID, 0x3329.

I'm pretty sure that these vendor IDs are assigned and unique to each vendor. I don't think that the gamepad would have your vendor ID, so it's rather that maybe the part of the headphones that takes care of volume sync/play/pause (which is like an input device) is detected as a gamepad, and not an actual gamepad being detected as an Audeze product.

My Audeze Maxwell is getting recognized as a gamepad/HID device and it seems to be messing with my actual gamepad, had this happened to anyone else? Any way to fix it?

Maybe you should update the Bluetooth drivers.

Can anyone with an RF meter quickly compare the RF radiation levels of the Audeze Maxwell to another pair of planar magnetic headphones?

I'm seeing much much higher RF levels from the pair of Maxwells that I currently have than from either of the other non-planar magnetic wireless headphones I own (XM5, Airpods Pro 2) and I'm trying to figure out whether the higher RF output is related to something unique about the wireless connectivity solution the Maxwells use or the planar magnetic driver technology itself.

Just launched a game and lifted up my headphones with both hands and was placing them on my head when i heard a loud crack in my left ear. Apparently the left hinge partially separated from the headband and is barely hanging on. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any chance I can get a replacement?

Yes there have been several of this failure reported, it’s an issue with the spot welding failing, known issue, contact customer support or your retailer for an RMA

There was a post about this here a few weeks ago, really needs bottoming out by independent testing.

This is an issue that affected only a small portion of early release units, and has been addressed/fixed.

Email support@audeze.com and we'll be more than happy to assist you in getting this resolved.

I’m curious what’s the RF levels on the Pulse Elites. Maybe pick them up and test you can always return them. If it’s high then it would suggest it’s planar magnetic technology.
