Such a thorough and full-featured review, good work as always brother!

Tip rolling does have a huge impact on presentation imo, moreso than cables.
For me I found that the Azla Sednafit Light Short tips beat out the JVC Spiral Dots++ and the Eletech Baroques for most balanced and the mid range and clarity is boosted.

A very well written review, with some nice points and good compare. However one comment :) Anni review without more harder metal\rock guitar songs? (excluding bon jovi and def lepard):p

These sound great. Build quality was outstanding. However I wish it was priced at around 1k which would make it a better buy imo.

Of course it would be a better buy, but I’m pretty sure that you wouldn’t get the same quality, build quality, or same sound if they made it 1/3rd the price. The Liquid Links Martini cable alone is 1/3rd of what you are wanting to price it at.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I think it's a great buy at full retail.

Anni 23 has enough going for it to make it one of the best IEMs on the market today, and if you consider some of its 'competitors' cost $1000, $2000, and even $3000 more, you could even argue Anni is good value at its price point - crazy as that sounds.

Whether or not it's affordable is an entirely different matter. The best things money can buy usually aren't.

Great review as always and incredible looking pics. Anni23 is definitely a looker!

Glad you appreciated your time with this IEM. I know it may not have been up your tuning alley, but figured you'd still be able to enjoy :beerchug:

Could someone give some Dap recommendations/impressions? Currently using the Shanling H7. Eyeing on the Se300 or the DX300 and wondering if they would really make a big sound difference/improvement to the H7?

Never owned the SE300 but I have owned a SE200 and I actually liked the AKM side, never really was a fan of ESS DACs. I'm assuming the SE300 is an upgrade sound-wise which is a good thing.

I've owned a about two DX300 and two DX320 and one DX320 Edition X and iBasso DAPs have never disappointed me. The DX300/DX320 is quite unique in the fact that it has 2 separate batteries, one for analog and one for digital (which obviously has its advantages), full Android OS which also gives you access to Neutron Player app which is probably the best sounding android music player app because it has 64 bit processing, oversampling and other settings to boost sound quality. You can even get the amp modules modded to improve presentation, dynamics, soundstage and clarity.
I would say to go for a DX320 if you have a chance, the ROHM DAC sounds more dynamic and resolving.

Bare in mind you'll likely need an adapter for dx320, because the stock cable plug doesn't go in nicely due to recessed port.
