Feliks-Audio EUFORIA - A Wolf in "Sheep's" Clothing...

I think I'll keep my Euforia after all.
I'm looking for an adapter for KT66/88 to 6AS7, can anyone help me? :)

Yesterday my adapters arrived from @Deyan - I'm very excited about both the processing and the ability to use my 6V6 tubes - I can't wait to get my hands on some KT88 tubes.

I can recommend Deyan to anyone who wants to buy adapters.
Good communication, very fast shipping - ordered on Sunday, shipped from Bulgaria on Monday, arrived in Germany on Friday - top!

Hello,
are you using the 6v6 at the output on the Euforia, am I correct?
Kt88 sound great, I refused to do it for a long time, but since I bought some for another amp I thought I'd give it a try.
And it's better than any 6AS7G or 6080 tube.
My plan now is like yours to use KT88 on the output and 6v6 on the driver output to stay within 7 amps.

Whats the benefit of that combo vs quad KT88?

Currently using the stock setup with my Euforia Klassik LTD.

Hello,
I haven't tried out how well KT88s perform at the driver output.
You have to be careful not to exceed the 7 ampere limit on the Euforia anyway.
With 4 KT tubes it is close to the limit.

Personally, I find 6V6 as a driver tube better than 6SN7 tubes.
Especially with Zmf headphones it is a better timbre and comes out better.
But that's also a personal preference.

You should also not underestimate EL34s, which are also very good in the Euforia.
Only the Sophia Electric EL34 should be avoided, they have a dark sound that you might not like.
All other EL34s are better than the Sophia.

I don't like them, I love them :)
By the way, I was the one who recommended them to you, if you remember. :D
Now I've ordered a couple more KT88s, I'm very curious to see how I like the combination.
Oh well, unfortunately I don't have an Evo, I have the classic Euforia MK2 :)

Yes :)
I made a mistake and only ordered 2 adapters, I didn't even think that I could use 4 :D
I'm also very excited about the KT88, if you read here, they are recommended again and again.

Could you recommend a tube combo for the Verite Open?

Currently opting for KT88 as Powers and 6V6 as drivers, as you suggested.

Are the stock PSVANE 6SN7 as driver a bad pairing with KT88 as power for a Verite Open?

Personally, I find the Ps vane absolutely unsuitable for the Euforia.
However, the tube is what Feliks aims for so this pairing is obviously the best with the Svetlana 6as7g.
It sounds too sterile, little bass, sometimes even clinical.
There are definitely better 6sn7 or 6v6 that sound better in this respect.

Rolled mine with rca 5692 and tung sol 5998 - my favorite amp with D8kPLE

I have always kept a pair of kt88 for power tubes in all of my Feliks audio amps (Elise OG, Elike MK2, Euforia EVO) Never owned any 5998 (possibly the best tubes w/o adapters for power). But i have tried just about every setup possible for the drivers. Tung sol or Ken rad vt231 black or smoked glass (staggered plate) is my fav 6sn7 variant. Using @Deyan adapter, I was able to use quad kt88 but i didnt like the sound it produced. I currently use vt99 as drivers and Sophia Elecrtic kt88 for powers and so far i really like the sound.

Did somebody use Ecc33 tubes in the Euphoria?
Do they have the same Pinout like ecc32 and can be used without an adapter ?
